I understand that this question refers specifically to clothing and backpacks. There have been no officially reported complaints within the chain of command about inappropriate clothing or backpacks from either Iraq or Afghanistan during the last 12 months for which records are maintained. The equipment provided to armed forces personnel is sufficient and appropriate for the tasks they are required to undertake.
