The Home Office has received no representations from Tesco supermarket on threatening letters received from animal right activists. However, the Government are committed to working in close co-operation with law enforcement agencies and any targets of animal rights extremism to eradicate the threat of extremists, building on the significant fall in illegal extremist activity, and the many significant convictions of animal rights extremists in the past 18 months.
