The Foreign Secretary and his Mauritian counterpart have not yet met to discuss the British Indian Ocean Territory (BIOT)/Chagos Archipelago. The former Foreign Secretary met the Mauritian Foreign Minister at the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting in June 2022.
