To ask the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change (1) whether his Department has assessed the potential effect of the EU Commission investigation into anti-dumping complaints against China on employment in the UK solar photovoltaic installation industry;

The UK Government examines each anti-dumping and anti-subsidy case on its merits, based on evidence presented by the Commission and representations received from interested parties, including producers, importers, retailers and consumers.
We submitted a number of technical questions to the Commission before it opened its investigations. The investigations are ongoing, and we will assess the Commission’s proposals very carefully (once we receive them).
We will continue to engage with all interested parties as the investigations continue.
