To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, pursuant to the Answer of 17 December 2015 to Question 19682, how much land in Poole Unitary Authority in hectares is designated as Green Belt.
The Department’s annual Green Belt statistics monitor the amount of land designated as Green Belt in England. The latest figures for 2014-15 show that 1,900 hectares of land in Poole Unitary Authority was designated as Green Belt. This is 29% of the land area of Poole Unitary Authority.
I know that the Government keep the status of trust ports under periodic review. Poole, which is a trust port, is a successful port. Such a status has the support of the local community, and indeed of its Member of Parliament. I hope the shipping Minister understands that.

We occasionally ask trust ports to review their status. All the feedback I have had from his trust port certainly shows that the trust port model is working well, and we would not wish to interfere with that.
