The person responsible for the child is also responsible for informing the Department of changes that may affect the child’s entitlement to Disability Living Allowance for Children. If the child is placed in foster care, DWP would appoint the foster carer as the new person responsible for the child. When advised of a change in circumstances the Department will then contact relevant authorities to establish the child’s current care needs, circumstances and funding streams.
Claimants are responsible for informing the Department of changes that may affect their entitlement to Carer’s Allowance, including changes to the care they provide. The Department offers a range of routes for reporting changes of circumstances.
Upon receipt of information that may affect entitlement, the Department reviews the claim and takes any necessary action in accordance with the applicable regulations and operational guidance.

The Department is working closely with National Highways, Home Office, and National Police Chiefs’ Council to ensure the Home Office approved solution for cameras affected by the anomaly is implemented as quickly as possible, once rigorous testing is complete.
The police continue to enforce speed offences on the network through a range of tactics. The HADECS camera system anomaly relates to a specific subset of enforcement activity affecting a small portion of speed awareness courses. The Department does not anticipate a significant impact on providers as the majority of courses are still taking place.

The government recognises the crucial role air freight plays in transporting goods to and from the UK, which benefits consumers and businesses and facilitates growth in large parts of the economy beyond aviation.
An independent slot coordinator is responsible for allocating slots at the UK’s slot coordinated airports. The UK Government is not involved in slot allocation and has no power to intervene in this process.

The information requested is not readily available.
The Child Maintenance Service (CMS) does not routinely collect or record information on whether a receiving parent is in receipt of Universal Credit or their employment status. While the Department holds information relating to Universal Credit and child maintenance separately, identifying the number of parents in receipt of Universal Credit who received child maintenance, and then further breaking this down by employment status, would require the matching and interrogation of records across different departmental systems.
The information could therefore only be obtained at disproportionate cost.
The Government recognises the important role that child maintenance plays in supporting children and families. Child maintenance payments are fully disregarded in Universal Credit calculations, ensuring that children benefit from the maintenance intended for them.
