To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, whether he plans to assign Palantir Technologies a Crown Representative.
Strategic suppliers are selected based on the scale, scope and criticality of the services they provide, and are overseen centrally to observe their performance in the delivery of public services. Palantir is not a strategic supplier to government and there are no plans to classify the company as a strategic supplier at this time.
The two largest UK public sector contracts with Palantir are the NHS Federated Data Platform contract (FDP) and the MOD Palantir Enterprise Agreement (EA). These contracts were initially awarded by the previous government.

The appointments of the Health Crown Representatives, as with all Crown Representatives, were made by the Cabinet Office.
The Cabinet Office requires all Crown Representatives to declare any Conflict of Interest both on appointment and at regular intervals thereafter. None of the current Crown Representatives have declared any party-political activity or interests.

We continually review the Crown Representatives through feedback mechanisms. We have reviewed the portfolio and allocation of Strategic Suppliers, have recently appointed new Crown Representatives and new Strategic Suppliers to the programme and have changed Crown Representative and others to new suppliers where appropriate.
The Crown Representatives are part time and are fully supported by a full time Markets and Suppliers team which comprises a number of relationship managers and business analysts.
