The work under the contract with procurement reference 336036/1227987 was delayed due to difficulties with finding a survey design that would accurately answer the research question, and eventually the contract expired before a workable design was agreed.
The department is continuing to work to finalise a revised research design. The survey has not yet been conducted but the expectation is that results will be available later this year.

The contract with procurement reference 336036/1227987 was delayed due to difficulties with finding a survey design that would accurately answer the research question, and eventually the contract expired before a workable design was agreed.
A new contract – reference 398437/1351727 – was awarded to Ipsos on the basis of agreeing a different survey design, which is more likely to produce usable results.

The number of tests undertaken through the survey led by Ipsos Mori and Imperial College London is reported in the daily testing figures under Pillar 4. These tests do not contribute to the number of people tested, as through these studies people are often tested repeatedly in order to better understand how the virus is changing in the population over time.

Government is absolutely committed to protecting victims of domestic abuse. We commissioned this audit of provision of domestic abuse services across England, run by Ipsos MORI, to inform our review of how domestic abuse services are locally commissioned and funded across the country.
We have been working closely with Ipsos MORI and academics to review findings from the audit, and will publish a report in due course, including information on the project specification and key findings.

Ipsos MORI were commissioned by the Grants Efficiency Programme to conduct research to help us to further understand the make-up of the complex grants landscape across 17 central government departments. The study consisted of 81 interviews, which investigated a range of randomly selected grants. Interviews were held with a cross-section of Grant Managers between 15th July and 12th September 2014.
The qualitative and quantitative findings from this research were used to help develop a baseline for calculating the benefits of various proposed interventions aimed at improving the administration of government grants, which were included in The Grants Efficiency Programme’s outline business case. The business case received support from ministers across government and the Grants Efficiency Programme is working with departments to deliver better information and to increase capability, in relation to grants, by the Spring.

The Secretary of State has not given any instructions to Ipsos/MORI with regard to any content within the final report of the Trust Special Administrator (TSA) laid before Parliament and published on 8 January 2013. The report can be found at:

The TSA appointed to South London Healthcare NHS Trust has worked independently of the Government in developing recommendations for the Secretary of State for a clinically and financially sustainable solution to the financial challenges faced by South London Healthcare NHS Trust. Ipsos/MORI were appointed to support the TSA's consultation process.
Funding to support the work of the TSA has been provided centrally by the Department. How it is used has been a matter for the TSA. Final costs are being confirmed but we are informed by the Office of the TSA that the cost of Ipsos/MORI's work for the TSA is expected to be in the region of £225,000.
