That this House congratulates Llandovery RFC, known as The Drovers, on their achievement of winning the Super Rygbi Cymru trophy following the final against Ebbw Vale RFC over the weekend; notes that this is the third time the club, from a North Caerfyrddin town of 2,500 residents, have won this accolade; further notes that the club was captained by Lee Rees on his 402nd game for the club over an 18 season career; commends coaches Euros Evans and Gareth Potter for their work with the club over many years, and their part in previous victories in the Welsh Premiership, the Welsh Cup, and National Sevens Champions; and further congratulates the team for continuing a legacy that began in 1866 when rugby was first played in Wales in a match between Llandovery and Lampeter in the village of Caio.
