Along with other relevant Government departments, the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) supported the Serious Fraud Office (SFO) throughout their investigation and was in full compliance with disclosure obligations in the subsequent prosecution, including all relevant material held by the organisation. Decisions on who to investigate, and whether to do so, were matters for the SFO.
