I normally welcome the hon. Gentleman’s questions, but I am certain he understands that asking questions about carriage hours for some of our most powerful munitions would be of benefit to adversary nations in seeking to understand UK stockpiles. He will recall from his time in uniform and know from his time in this House that transparency is important but I am sure he understands that I am not prepared to publish information that may be a direct benefit to those nations who do not have the UK’s or our allies’ best interests at heart, and as such I am withholding this information. I will continue to withhold information that I am certain the hon. Gentleman will understand should not be in the public domain for very good reasons.
