The Government does not disclose detailed information on protective security arrangements at specific sites, including funding levels. This reflects a long-standing policy designed to protect the integrity and effectiveness of security measures, as the release of such information could increase vulnerabilities and compromise site security.

Pets are not transported to Chequers independently of the Prime Minister’s family. There is therefore no additional cost to the taxpayer.

This is set out in the Chequers Estates Act 1917.
Notwithstanding the above, it is in the public domain that the Prime Minister does not intend to make use of Chequers in such a way.
