The Gambling Commission, as the independent regulator for gambling, has responsibility for making decisions around licensing. The Gambling Commission has not been approached or held any discussion with the Reform Party on crypto gambling.

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, pursuant to the answer of 17 June 2026 to Question 8263 on Political Parties: Finance, how the ban on cryptocurrency donation will be enforced for donations made before the legislation commences.
As announced by the Secretary of State on 25 March 2026, any donations in crypto assets accepted on or after 25 March will not be permitted. Following commencement of these provisions in the Bill, recipients will have 30 days to return or forfeit these donations. Following this, enforcement action may be taken.
