That this House congratulates the Denny & District Community Group and local businesses for once again organising the Denny Giving Tree and Community Christmas Event; notes that last year’s Giving Tree provided 500 gifts to children and adults who might otherwise have gone without at Christmas, and welcomes this year’s 10 Christmas trees, including the one at the Denny Co-op on Stirling Street; commends the volunteers, schools, charities and shops whose generosity makes the initiative possible; celebrates the community Christmas event on 7 December, including the parade, market stalls, entertainment and carol singing; and recognises Strathcarron fundraiser George Talbot for switching on the town’s Christmas lights as the community comes together to support those most in need this festive season.

I believe that there is plenty of time left for me to deal with Mr. Smith's case, and I intend to do so. However, I think it important to record the successes of Warm Front and the scale of the enterprise, and to explain the reasons for the procedures and...

I welcome the Minister to the Treasury Bench to discuss an important matter concerning the Warm Front scheme. The idea behind Warm Front deserves nothing but praise. The scheme was introduced for the best of reasons, but too often it is failing in terms of how it is delivered. Like...

I congratulate the hon. Member for Newbury (Mr. Benyon) on securing the debate, standing up so strongly for his constituent, Mr. Smith, and examining the record of the Warm Front scheme. I share his view that this hugely important scheme should bring maximum benefit to vulnerable households that would otherwise...

That this House congratulates Dennis Wise on being appointed player caretaker Manager of Millwall, one of London's oldest football clubs; remembers the great goal he scored in the San Siro with 10 minutes to go, when he played for Chelsea; wishes him all success for the next four games; and looks forward to his bringing to club management the same total professional dedication he displayed as a player for Wimbledon, Chelsea, Millwall and England.
