That this House congratulates the 1st Ram Hill Scout Group in Coalpit Heath on its successful launch in September 2024; notes that the group is already thriving with a full range of sections including Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts; further notes the significant demand for scouting in the local area with a 75 person waiting list for the younger sections; celebrates the achievements of the young people who recently received their Chief Scout Acorn, Bronze, and Silver Awards, recognising their dedication and personal development; commends the invaluable dedication and commitment of the volunteers and parents who make these skills-for-life activities possible; recognises the vital role that scouting plays in developing confidence, resilience, and essential life skills in young people across the United Kingdom; acknowledges that scout groups nationwide continue to demonstrate strong uptake and community support; and calls on individuals to consider volunteering as adult leaders to help groups expand their capacity and ensure more young people can benefit from the opportunities provided by the Scouting movement.
