To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to the Defence Investment Plan, published on 30 June 2026, page 26, how many Type 94 uncrewed radar platforms does he intend to build for the Royal Navy.
The Defence Investment Plan announced the development of Type 94 uncrewed radar platforms as part of the Royal Navy’s Hybrid Navy strategy. The number of platforms to be procured, and the construction schedules for those platforms, have not yet been determined. Detailed requirements will be considered as the programme progresses through its concept and assessment phases.
