Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Lord Spellar (Labour), on Wednesday, 24 November 1993, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 81 members in total.
CHILD SUPPORT AGENCY
That this House welcomes the review of the operation of the Child Support Agency, but believes that the rigid guidelines it is operating are causing widespread misery and hardship to families across the country; and calls for its operations to be suspended pending the outcome of the review in order that many families may enjoy a peaceful Christmas free of financial stress and fear.
