Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Lord Fowler (Conservative), on Tuesday, 21 May 1996, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 35 members in total.

GP FUNDHOLDING

That this House pays tribute to the impressive way in which fundholding general practitioners have brought about real improvements in the standard of care provided to everyone who uses the NHS; welcomes the fact that the majority of general practitioners have chosen to become fundholders in order to take control of the care provided to their individual patients; and deplores the opposition parties' determination to destroy fundholding.
