Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Bill Walker (Conservative), on Tuesday, 13 March 1990, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 7 members in total.
Special Ferry Trip to Dunoon
That this House notes that Caledonian MacBrayne, a subsidised nationalised ferry company, ran a special unscheduled trip to Dunoon on Friday 9th March to transport the Right honourable Member for Islwyn to the Scottish Labour Party Conference; and further notes that, when the leader of the Labour Party misses the scheduled ferry, the costs of running a special ferry trip should be paid by the Labour Party and not through subsidies from United Kingdom taxpayers.
