Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Teddy Taylor (Conservative), on Wednesday, 22 July 1998, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 24 members in total.
LOCKERBIE BOMBING
That this House considers that the Lockerbie bombing was such an appalling act in international terrorism that it is vital that the issue should be fully investigated in a court of law and that those responsible should be brought to justice; and urges Her Majesty's Government and the US Government to display flexibility and responsibility in negotiations with Libya to ensure that a comprehensive enquiry and an effective trial of suspects takes place.
