LOCKERBIE BOMBING (No. 2)

That this House, being conscious of its obligations to the relatives of those who lost their lives in the Lockerbie bombing and of the need to identify and to punish those who caused the tragedy, welcomes the proposal by Her Majesty's Government and the United States of America to hold a trial of the alleged suspects at the Hague; and urges Her Majesty's Government to make available to the government of Libya any clarification of the proposed arrangements which is reasonably sought.
