KOSOVA
That this House views with alarm recent developments in Kosova; condemns Serbian aggression against the majority Albanian population and abuse of human rights; notes the policy of peaceful resistance adopted by President Rugova and the Democratic League of Kosova; believes the international community cannot stand idly by whilst the Milosevic regime conducts is policy of ethnic cleansing as it did in Bosnia; recognises the risk of international conflict which could involve Albania, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey; and calls upon the United Nations and the European Union to take whatever action is necessary to prevent a conflict which could destabilise the Balkans and the eastern Mediterranean.
