CONDUCT OF THE HONOURABLE MEMBER FOR EDINBURGH SOUTH
That this House deplores the behaviour and the remarks made by the honourable Member for Edinburgh South whilst attending the Institute of Travel and Tourism's Annual Conference which preempted the current investigation by the Monopolies and Mergers Commission into the travel industry; notes that only following the reporting of these remarks did the honourable Member withdraw from any further involvement with the Monopolies and Mergers Commission report; and now calls for him to apologise publicly to the travel industry and for his removal from any future engagements abroad representing this House or Her Majesty's Government.
