Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor John McWilliam (Labour), on Wednesday, 19 May 1999, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 46 members in total.
SATELLITE TELEPHONES FOR REFUGEES
That this House recognises the important contribution by BT, Nortel Networks, Oracle, Dell and Newbridge in providing robust satellite telephones and other communications to Kosovan refugees in Albania and in setting up a special call centre in Munich; and encourages other UK companies to play their full part in helping to address this humanitarian crisis.
