Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Ted Leadbitter (Labour), on Tuesday, 5 December 1989, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 41 members in total.

Hartlepool and 'The Foudroyant'

That this House congratulates Hartlepool Borough Council on its efforts to restore and display the Napoleonic frigate 'Foudroyant'; and appreciates its initiative, following the restoration of the 'Warrior', which provides for skilled labour in Hartlepool and the surrounding districts, including the Easington constituency, work which has national recognition so that winning the restoration contract for the 'Foudroyant' has established the area within the Marina development as an important restoration centre.
