Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Fraser Kemp (Labour), on Wednesday, 20 December 2000, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 10 members in total.
EVENING CHRONICLE CAMPAIGN ON DRINK DRIVING
That this House fully supports the innovative campaign launched by the Evening Chronicle in the North East, which involves local pubs offering free soft drinks to drivers who show their keys and are accompanied by two passengers; and further believes that this initiative will help to reduce the tragic loss of life caused by drink drivers in the Christmas period.
