WINDFALL TAX ON OIL COMPANIES' EXCESS PROFITS
That this House believes that in the light of the oil companies' blatant profiteering and their failure to pass on the reduction in the price of crude oil in lower petrol pump prices there is now a powerful case for the Chancellor of the Exchequer to consider imposing a one-off windfall tax on their profits in the forthcoming budget.
