Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Liam Fox (Conservative), on Monday, 12 May 2003, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 85 members in total.
NATIONAL OSTEOPOROSIS MONTH
That this House notes that June is National Osteoporosis Month; recognises the devasting impact that osteoporosis has on the lives of large numbers of people, particularly women; notes that early action to identify and treat osteoporosis can significantly reduce that impact; and calls on the Government to take steps to increase the early diagnosis of osteoporosis and to improve the standard of treatment available to those so diagnosed.
