MEDIA ACCESS TO IRAQ

That this House notes that the Kurdish authorities are doing all they can to facilitate media access to Iraqi Kurdistan; notes however that around 150 foreign journalists are currently being prevented from entering the region by the Turkish authorities; and calls on the government to encourage Turkey to enable these journalists to enter Northern Iraq without undue restrictions in line with European standards.
