Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Graham Stringer (Labour), on Tuesday, 2 November 2004, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 36 members in total.
BODDINGTON'S BREWERY
That this House believes that the announcement by InBev of its pulling out of Boddington's Strangeways Brewery is a breach of the commitment given in 2002 that brewing would remain on this site; and congratulates and supports the trade unions and workers campaign to save their jobs and the 222 years tradition of brewing at this brewery.
