ARREST OF MR PETER HOUNAM
That this House condemns the arrest of the journalist Mr Peter Hounam in Jerusalem on 26th May; recognises that Peter is an excellent investigative journalist who helped to write the original article concerning Israel's nuclear weapons, resulting in the undercover arrest of Mordechai Vanunu and his 18 year imprisonment; and calls upon the Government of Israel to ensure Mr Hounam's immediate release and the lifting of restrictions upon Mr Mordechai Vanunu.
