10TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE FIRST FREE ELECTIONS IN SOUTH AFRICA

That this House extends its congratulations to South Africa via her Excellency Lindiwe Mabuza, the South African High Commissioner, on the 10th anniversary of the first free elections in South Africa; pays tribute to those who helped bring an end to racial divisions, remembering the sacrifices they made; praises South Africa's achievements, including being the first country in the world to give up nuclear weapons; and trusts that the next 10 years will see further progress made in tackling poverty and HIV/AIDS.
