Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Jim Sheridan (Labour), on Monday, 14 March 2005, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 49 members in total.
BBC AND SCOTTISH HONOURABLE AND RIGHT HONOURABLE MEMBERS
That this House condemns the irresponsible and divisive comments of BBC journalists in describing Scottish honourable and Right honourable Members as being part of a 'Scottish raj' which is ruling the country; and calls on the senior management of the BBC to apologise unreservedly for this insulting, outdated and snobbish attitude to life in a modern UK.
