Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Ron Brown (Labour), on Wednesday, 12 June 1991, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 68 members in total.
POST OFFICE COUNTERS
That this House notes that Post Office Counters have made record profits, thanks to the co-operation and efforts of employees; further notes that management, under pressure from the Tory Government, is trying to impose an unacceptable pay settlement, even refusing arbitration; and fully supports the Union of Communication Workers in their struggle to secure a decent wage for members.
