That this House believes the Lincolnshire Sausage to be a valuable part of British culinary culture; congratulates the organisers of the annual Lincolnshire Sausage Festival on their work towards celebrating the sausage and protecting it against inferior facsimiles; and urges the European Commission to confer the status of protected geographical indication upon the sausage as soon as possible.
