Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor David Marshall (Labour), on Tuesday, 29 November 2005, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 31 members in total.
TREATMENT OF PASSENGERS BY RYANAIR
That this House notes yet another instance of Ryanair's callous treatment of passengers when on Sunday 27th November it left 180 passengers from Scotland stranded in Germany when it cancelled their flight home, provided next to no information, and offered some passengers ??5 and others a flight home on Thursday 1st December; further notes Ryanair's blatant disregard for the new EU compensation rules introduced last February; and considers that passengers should think long and hard before deciding whether or not to fly with Ryanair.
