MALTA MEMORIAL
That this House welcomes the decision to commemorate the siege of Malta, 1940-1943, by the building of a monument in Valetta overlooking St. Elmo Point, and congratulates both the British and Maltese Governments for giving their full support to this project and wishes the George Cross Island Memorial Siege Bell Trust every success in their task of raising the sum of ??200,000 as the United Kingdom contribution.
