Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Adam Price (Plaid Cymru), on Monday, 15 January 2007, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 30 members in total.
PRESIDENT BUSH'S NEW STRATEGY FOR IRAQ
That this House notes the deployment by US President George W. Bush of 21,500 extra troops to Iraq; is totally opposed to escalating the coalition presence in Iraq; and instead believes that, nearly four years since the invasion of Iraq, it is time to disengage from the occupation and for the UK to pursue a policy that is independent of President Bush and his advisers.
