STATUE OF SHAHEED NANAK SINGH IN AMRITSAR
That this House welcomes the unveiling of a statue of Shaheed Nanak Singh in Amritsar on 26th January; acknowledges the fact that he dedicated his life to freedom and peace in India; notes the sacrifice that he made when he was killed while trying to save students who were coming under attack during a peaceful protest; and hopes that others can learn from Shaheed Nanak Singh's dedication to religious harmony.
