Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Jim Devine (Labour), on Wednesday, 20 February 2008, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 7 members in total.
CONDUCT OF THE HON. MEMBER FOR BANFF AND BUCHAN AND KOSOVO
That this House calls for a formal apology from the hon. Member for Banff and Buchan for his ill-informed and outspoken condemnation of NATO action to protect the Kosovan people from Serbian aggression, describing NATO action as unpardonable folly; notes that the SNP were unable to recognise that a dictatorship engaged in ethnic cleansing warranted international action; and further notes that the SNP stood alone in its condemnation of NATO action with all other UK political parties supporting the action.
