PENNIES4CHANGE CHARITY
That this House urges the banking and retail sectors to allow their customers to raise an estimated ??100 million a year for charity by offering the option of rounding up credit and debit card transactions to the nearest ??1 through the PIN terminal at the point of sale through the Pennies4change scheme; and considers that by harnessing the power of pennies and encouraging a culture of giving, Pennies4change can make a significant impact for those in need and for good causes everywhere.
