Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Brian Wilson (Labour), on Wednesday, 4 March 1992, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 47 members in total.
STATEMENT OF THE PRIME MINISTER ON POVERTY
That this House notes with astonishment the words used by the Prime Minister 'Poverty, what poverty?' in an interview with the Glasgow Herald; and regrets to conclude that these sentiments are wholly compatible with the outlook of a man who was also the architect of the Social Fund.
