MOROCCO AND SOLAR POWER
That this House welcomes the constructive participation of Mrs Amina Benkhadra, Moroccan Minister of Energy and her accompanying delegation to the conference on climate change and the Desertec initiative organised on 2 February 2010 in this House; congratulates the Kingdom of Morocco for its commitment to making renewable energy a strategic priority for the next 10 years ahead and particularly for the ambitious and integrated Moroccan solar project; and recognises Morocco's strong interest in the Desertec initiative.
