Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor James Lamond (Labour), on Tuesday, 28 January 1992, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 33 members in total.
LONDON ZOO
That this House is dismayed to learn that reductions have been implemented in the staff complement at London Zoo, and that there is now renewed uncertainty over staffing levels in the scientific, research, and conservation departments; and believes that this is particularly foolish in the light of proposals for the zoo to develop over time into a centre of educational and conservation excellence.
