Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Lord Soley (Labour), on Wednesday, 12 February 1992, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 19 members in total.

CONDUCT OF THE HON. MEMBER FOR HARROW WEST

That this House notes that the honourable Member for Hammersmith has never claimed that expenditure on capital receipts was outside the public sector borrowing requirement; notes that the recorded text of his answer at the Roof conference confirms that he said that capital receipts do have an impact on public sector borrowing requirement; and suggests that the honourable Member for Harrow West gets his facts right before tabling Early Day Motions, such as No. 630 of the Session, not least because the Minister for Housing is also recorded as saying the Government was keeping under review the possibility of releasing capital receipts.
