Squadron Leader "Ginger Lacey"

That this House welcomes the establishment of the fund to purchase for the Royal Air Force and the nation the medals awarded to the late Squadron Leader 'Ginger' Lacey, DFM and Bar, Croix de Guerre; notes that these medals are, in their way, the highest representation of the gallantry of our fighter pilots during the Battle of Britain; hopes that the medals will remain in this country and be available for the public to see; congratulates Squadron Leader D. Haller, RAF (Retd) on his initiative; and wishes him success.
