FRIENDS OF RANNOCH PARK, GRANGEMOUTH
That this House praises the work being done by the Friends of Rannoch Park, a dedicated group of local people working to improve Rannoch Park in Grangemouth, Scotland; commends the group for the work it is doing to improve access to the park for those with disabilities or who are elderly; notes that the group is facilitating this by doing exemplary work by lowering kerbs, installing additional seating and has erected a wheelchair accessible picnic bench; is further pleased to note that the Friends of Rannoch Park has recently secured £1,600 in funding from Greggs, which will be used to purchase seeds to create wild flower areas in Rannoch Park, in addition to 950 trees which have been supplied by The Conservation Group and that local school children will be involved in planting these; and wishes all involved the very best of luck for the continued success of their project.
