Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Harry Barnes (Labour), on Tuesday, 26 October 1993, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 3 members in total.
EXCLUSION ORDER ON GERRY ADAMS
That this House notes that the Government's decision to issue an exclusion order against Gerry Adams has handed him and Sinn Fein a propaganda gift at a time when the Provisional IRA have carried out the most appalling crimes; further believes that if Adams can legally carry on his activities in Northern Ireland he should be able to do the same in Great Britain; and calls for a full review of the use of exclusion orders.
