SPECIAL NEEDS ADVENTURE PLAYGROUP
That this House commends the outstanding work of Special Needs Adventure Playground (SNAP) in providing a specialist service to children with Additional Support Needs (ASN); recognises that the organisation was originally set up in 1987 with the intention of providing an adventure playground service upkept by parents and volunteers but later moved onto enlisting professionals to fill the role of working with the ASN children; celebrates its success in winning the People's Project which has subsequently allowed the organisation to double its capacity from 30 to 60 children a day; and commends all the hard work of the organisation and its staff which have provided an essential and much appreciated service for the parents and children involved.
