Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Bob Cryer (Labour), on Thursday, 22 July 1993, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 58 members in total.
THROUGH TICKETING ON BRITISH RAIL
That this House congratulates travel agents Chiltern Trains on making clear to the Secretary of State for Transport that through ticketing is available from all British Rail ticket offices; is concerned that Ministers require this clarification; and acknowledges that this excellent facility will be dismantled if ever the lunatic proposal of railway privatisation proceeds.
